Inivitation to applicate for the 3-year Ph.D. program

The program starts at October 1st 2006 ending September 30, 2009. The GSSS is part of an international network of graduate education and is funded by the Volkswagen Foundation. The GSSS offers 9 stipends for Ph.D. fellows of Euro 1000/month for 36 months, contingent on successful completion of each year. Funding is also available for empirical research and travel.
We invite applications within the three thematic fields of the GSSS:
- Transnational Relations and Political Theory Welfare State
- Transformation Social Change and the Life Course Foreign students are
