Call for Papers and notice of the General Meeting at the Annual Conference of the German Peace Psychology Association “Conflict, Peace, and Integration” hosted by the Institute for Interdisciplinary Research on Conflict and Violence, University of Bielefeld, June 16th to 18th 2010
The International Network of Psychologists for Social Responsibility (INPsySR) promotes communication between organizations around the world, working for peace and social justice. The INPsySR will sponsor symposia at the Annual Conference of the German Peace Psychology Association “Conflict, Peace, and Integration”.
INPsySR will organize one or two symposia for the Annual Conference of the German Peace Psychology Association. Thus, INPsySR invites submissions of abstracts for presentations or workshop activities on topics of “Conflict, Peace, and Integration”. INPsySR\'s idea is to bring in international aspects and perspectives on the topics.
Integration refers to changes within societies due to migration, to group focused enmity, such as xenophobia, racism, and others. It may also refer to the integration of opposing groups and opposing world views, as well as the integration of experiences of violence. INPsySR invites abstracts on all of these topics. INPsySR strongly encourages abstracts on international conflicts, post-war situations, and reconciliation.
Abstracts should not exceed 300 words in length. Please state objectives, conclusions, and for empirical research methods and results. The presentations are scheduled for 20 minutes. Each workshop includes a final 20-30 minutes discussion of all presentations.
Please submit your abstract to Ferdinand Garoff, ferdinand.garoff@gmail.com by April 4th 2010. You will receive notice by April 12th 2010. In case your abstract could not be included into INPsySR\'s symposia, you can still apply directly, by April 16th.
