BICC is looking to publish theoretical and policy relevant papers in the areas of human security, resources and conflict, and civil-military cooperation (CIMIC).

BICC is looking to publish theoretical and policy relevant papers in the areas of human security, resources and conflict, and civil-military cooperation (CIMIC).
Guidelines: Papers should be 4,000 - 6,000 words long and explore issues in one of the three topic areas. Papers that are most closely related to BICC\'s overall research will be given preference. Interested authors are asked to submit a 1 - 2 paragraph abstract/proposal (no more than 350 words) of their paper which should properly outline the problem(s) being addressed, provide a clear thesis statement or research question(s), and discuss the proposed methodology and possible implications of the research.
Deadline: Proposals should be submitted electronically no later than 15 May 2007 to Ms. Elvan Isikozlu (isikozlu@bicc.de). Outstanding contributions may be awarded an honorarium of up to US $500 and published as a BICC publication.
