For human security in Middle East policy: Options for political action

The „Why ThinkPeace?“ series broadens the discourse on critical security policy by integrating feminist perspectives, especially as Germany faces existential challenges to peace, security, and the international order. Initiated by the Heinrich Böll Foundation in collaboration with Barbara Mittelhammer, the series seeks to shape priorities within a human security approach amid uncertainty about the future of feminist foreign policy in Germany.

In this episode, the focus is on security, dignity, and self-determination for all people in Palestine and Israel as the foundation for lasting peace, exploring how a feminist and international law–based approach can expand options for action.
