Status Quo or Bold Adaptation? Reclaiming the Women, Peace and Security Agenda

The European Institute of Peace’s report, part of the Breaking Barriers, Making Peace project, calls for rethinking the Women, Peace and Security agenda to ensure its relevance in today’s global context. It identifies five persistent barriers to women’s participation in peace processes, highlights transformative principles and promising practices, and offers concrete actions for policymakers and practitioners to strengthen women’s role in peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
