Policy Note: Why and How Involve the Global Ukrainian Community for the Recovery of Ukraine
Since 2014, Ukraine has defended against Russian aggression, and despite the ongoing war, it prioritizes recovery projects to meet immediate societal needs and lay the groundwork for future transformation, supported by international partners. This paper highlights by CRISP the untapped potential of the 20-25 million-strong Global Ukrainian Community (GUC) to aid recovery through advocacy, networks, and expertise, emphasizing the need for systematic engagement and providing recommendations for sustainable cooperation.
