E-Book Launch: “25 Years of Women, Peace and Security – Promises, Backlash, and Feminist Reimagining"

Marking the 25th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325, this E-Book brings together contributions from the PRIF Blog Series to reflect on the achievements, contestations, and future of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda, including debates on institutionalization, postcolonial critique, and current backlash. The accompanying online launch event on 10 March 2026 will feature insights from the editors and a keynote by Toni Haastrup, inviting discussion on how the WPS agenda can be reimagined to fulfill its transformative potential.
