Environment, People, and Conflict

The 5-day training is offered to practitioners of peace and conflict work, as well as those who intend to work in the field.

The connections between environment and conflict have become more and more visible within the past years. With climate change as a threat multiplier that puts additional pressure on already fragile governance structures, or ecosystems that are essential for the livelihoods of people, the need to understand and address these connections have become immanent. In this training we practice a comprehensive and systematic approach to analyze the interlinkages of environment and conflict, including it into existing programs for sustainable impact.
