Integrating women from resistance and liberation movements into peace processes

Marking 25 years of UNSCR 1325, the event “Integrating women from resistance and liberation movements in peace processes” highlights the gap in women’s participation, as those from resistance and liberation movements (WRLMs) remain largely excluded from negotiations and transition processes. Drawing on the policy paper “At and around the table”, WRLM representatives will share experiences, challenges, and recommendations for more inclusive peacebuilding, with interpretation available in Spanish, Kurdish, Burmese, and Thai.
