Nonviolent Action and Advocacy

The training explores the potential of civil society and non-violent action to drive social, cultural, and economic change, emphasizing the role of power dynamics in conflict transformation. Participants will examine strategies like advocacy, civil disobedience, boycotts, and sanctions, comparing the effectiveness of non-violent versus violent approaches. It is designed for those working in or aspiring to work in conflict transformation, peacebuilding, non-violent activism, or conflict-sensitive international cooperation.
