Trauma, Stress Management, and Resilience

Professionals in the peacebuilding, humanitarian, and development fields frequently face highly stressful and traumatic situations that can deeply affect their mental health and overall well-being. Gaining a better understanding of these stressors and their impacts offers valuable perspectives for both practitioners and those who support or work alongside them. Moreover, recognizing emotional responses and developing effective coping strategies can strengthen resilience—helping practitioners to sustain their work while safeguarding their mental health.
