Global Report on Food Crises 2025

The Global Report on Food Crises (GRFC) offers comprehensive analyses of food and nutrition crises across global, regional, and national contexts. It explores acute food insecurity and malnutrition affecting both resident and forcibly displaced populations, identifies both immediate and root causes of these crises, and tracks trends in acute food insecurity over the past nine years. The report emphasizes the need for timely action and highlights short- and medium-term risks facing vulnerable groups.

The Global Report on Food Crises (GRFC), published by the Food Security Information Network (FSIN) in support of the Global Network Against Food Crises (GNAFC), is the result of a collaborative effort by UN agencies, regional intergovernmental bodies, donors, technical organizations, and clusters, jointly producing consensus-based analysis to inform effective humanitarian and development responses.
