Comic book on environmental peacebuilding in Somalia

‘Youth! Rise for a Greener Future' (Dhalinyarooy, U Kaca Mustaqbal Doog leh) explores the links between climate change, environmental degradation, displacement and conflict in Somalia. Aimed at young audiences, this comic shows the effects of climate change and provides a hopeful vision of environmental peacebuilding, highlighting the resilience and ingenuity of Somali youth as they tackle environmental challenges and build peaceful communities. The comic, developed by Freehand Studios, SIPRI, IOM Somalia and the Berghof Foundation, is available in both Somali and English.
