Spotlight on… Defending Human Rights
Twice a year, we provide insight into our training work with our free webinar series “Spotlight on…”. Our experienced trainers will briefly introduce a specific concept, method or tool and report on their practical experiences.
In April, we will explore the role of Defenders of Human Rights (DHR) in contexts of heightened environmental, social, and political challenges. Drawing from international standards, the session highlights innovative strategies for protection and resilience, with a focus on participatory methods and case-based learning. Participants will be invited to engage with practical tools, legal framework and scenarios that foster reflection on risks, responsibilities, and collective action in defense of human rights. This concept is part of the Practitioner Training “Defending Human Rights” – in case you want to know more about this in a broader context.
