Conflict-sensitive Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (within the full-time course)

The 5-day courseis offered to practitioners of peace and conflict work, as well as those who intend to work in the field. Whether you are experienced or new in the field of peace and conflict / peacebuilding, this course will be an invaluable addition your PME toolbox. There will be a maximum of 18 participants.

Content

Conflict transformation and peacebuilding aims at supporting the local capacities for peace and do as little harm as possible. Planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes (PMEL) must be planned and designed accordingly.

During this course, participants will be introduced to key terms from the wider field of planning, monitoring, evaluation, and learning in the context of conflict transformation and peacebuilding. They will explore the underlying concepts and learn how to plan a PMEL process of peacebuilding projects and programs. By the end of this 5-day training workshop, participants will have developed conflict transformation & conflict sensitive peacebuilding programming skills, are able to plan peacebuilding projects according to the RPP Matrix and apply the Do No Harm Framework.
